Suriname is a country of many different landscapes and geographical features such as coastal plain grassland, tropical forests, and heavily forested hills. There are many rivers in Suriname, but ninety percent of Surinames population is on the coasts of these rivers. In the agricultural section of Suriname, the heat, humidity and precipitation, allow low shrubs and trees to grow. They are scattered everywhere, only broken occasionally by a savanna or grassland. Suriname is in the tropics, so it is considered a tropical country. The average temperature of Suriname is 70 to 90 degrees Fahrenheit. Paramaribo, the capital of Suriname, has average temperature of 81 degrees fahrenheit. It almost fits exacltly in the middle of the average range of temperature.
